——< Stanley Godfrey, aged 19. of 71' Hawker Street, who met with a serious accident at Plimmerton last Saturday week, died in Wellington Hospital at. half-past 2 o'clock on Saturday morning. Deceased, who was accompanied by his brother and n friend, were out rabbit shooting. About i ' o'clock he. had a couple of shots at some rabbits, but, missing them/he handed his gun to his mate in order that tlie latter niiffht make an attempt. Just as he passed the weapon pvsr, the trigger caught on something, with the result that lie received the charge in his back. He wns in.the employ of thi-s Te Aio Furnishing Company. ■ • An inquest will.be held this week into the circumstances surrounding the death.
