SERIOUS ACCIDENT TO A SOLDIER
FOUND ON RAILWAY LINE. James Diamond, a medical orderly at Trentbam, was found yesterday by the officials on- the 6.30 a.m. train .'from "Pnper Huttto Wellington, lyincr just off tho track a little north of Belninnt. It is surmised that the man had fallen from a moving rain tlic previous evening, and lie suffered very serious injuries, especially to his head. Diamond was placed on tho train, the Hospital ambulance was requisitioned by tolen'nyp, ami mi arrival of tile train at Wellington, . tho injured man wns removed to Victoria Hospital, whore it voMj found necessary to perform an operation on him.
