At Burnsidc to-day there wero very large yardings of cattle of splendid quality. Owing to the largo number oV stock offered prices wero easier by £1 per head, and towards the close of the salo , the decline was even greater. Kxtra primo bullocks, to £24; prime £19 to £22 10s., medium £16 10s. to £18,. lighter £12 upwards.; extra primo heifers to £IS, prime £15 to £17, medium £13 to £14 10s., light-and aged £9 upwards. In store cattle there wore largo yardings oE fair quality, and prices were easier liy 10s. A largo yarding of sheep of good quality came forward, the supply being in excess of requirements, and prices did not reach last week's rates, welliers being Is. and ewes Is. 6d. cheaper, but- prices firmed, a little towards the close. Ewes and light sheep were easier throughout the- sale. Prime wethers in wool 495. 6d. to 50s. 3d., extra mime 445. to uls., prime 395. to 425. owes 40s. to 41s. 6d., ■ prime 345. to 385., medium 31s. to 335., light and unfinished 235. upwards. There was a fair yardiiifj of medium, quality fat lambs, and prices were weaker. Extra heavy 265. to 285., primes 235. to 245. Gd., light and inferior ISs. Od.to 225. A large yarding of pigs sold iindnr keon competition, prices ranging from £7 6s. to £9 14s.
