The matron of the Masterton Hospital (Miss Wilkinson) has tendered her resignation after six years' service. The resignation has been accepted by the Hospital Board with sincere regret. The annual matriculation examination opened in Masterton on Tuesday morning. ■ There aro thirty-two candidates, and Monsignor M'Kenna is acting as supervisor, '• '■ , ' '■'•'.
