! A SUCCESSFUL GATHERING . i ENTRIES OF GOOD QUALITY f The'thirteenth, annual show pf the J Horowlienua Agricultural and Pastonil j , Association was held on the Levin f Raceoourse yesterday. The weather : was iiue, and this enabled * larse num- ;,.- -her of people from 'the surrounding ;■ districts to attend. The catalogue con- •■-. tained some, 150 classes, and the num- . her of entries totalled 657, whish was J.";' an increase of 77 as compared with f> last year. In cattle, there were. 255 I entries,, 146 in sheep, and 31 in pigs, v while tlie competitions attracted 225 '■' ' competitors. [. .A very satisfactory feature of the '. show was the great increase in cattle. t Last year 186 cattle were entered,' but !; this year the number totalled 'liio.
