Tewsley, tho sale of a lioro, buildings, and plant in connection with the Taranaki oil industry was conducted this 'afternoon by Messrs. Smith and Halcombe. There vas a. fair attendance,- and the property and the plant were eventually sold for £2800. The bore is near Huiroa station on the Stratford-Oliura nno, and is down nearly 5000 feet. ' The prospects when the bore wag stopped by Teason of a breakage were considered favourable.
