AIR-RAIDS OYER ENGLAND
THE DEATH ROLL AGAINST THE HUN (Rec. January 13,1.80 a.m.) London, January 10. A return shows that during the war period there wero fifty airship raids over Britain. These killed 498 people and injured 1236 amongst' the civilians, and killed 58 and wounded 112 in the services. In fifty-one aeroplane raids there were killed 619, and injured 1650 civilians; there were also killed23Band wounded 400 in the services. Twelve warship bombardments killed 143 and injured 604 civilians, and also killed 14 and wounded 30 in the services.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.;
