COLONEL BEGG TO COMMAND. The Director-General of Medical Services, Surgeon-General Henderson, is retiring from the position shortly, and as soon as he is released he is to ho succeeded in the appointment by Colonel C. M. Begg, C.8., C.M.G., who lias been on active service with the New Zealand Medical Corps since 1914. Colonel Begg holds the academic distinctions of M.'D. and F.R.G.S., Edin. Ho is still out of New Zealand, but he will be returning as soon us possible.
