ACCIDENT AT RAILWAY SIDING
BOY BADLY INJURED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Timaru, January 2. When a. train from Enirlio arrived at Mawaro siding this morning thet guard found a boy,, named Brosnahan, 11 years of age, lying on the line with one leg almost severed. After applying first aid, the guard brought the Iwy to Timaru and lie was taken Ho the hospital.' His parent's live at Jlawavo. It appears that tho boy bail gone to the siding alone, and it is presumed that lie had been amusing himself starting trucks. As the lino bad an inclined grade lie would not. be able to ston one in motion. Tho litllo fellow boro his injuries, stoically.
