ALLEGED' BREACH BY RUMANIA,
Budapest, December 23. Tho Hungarian Government is protesting to \the Entente Powers against tho violation of the armistice liy Rumanian, Czech, and Sorbian troops, who are continuously advancing into tho interior, It is reported that the Rumanian comnmndors have informed tho Hungarian Government that French, British, Greek, Serbian, and Rumanian troops will occupy tho whole of Hungary.—Aus.-Is. Z. Cable Assn. WELCOME HOME. TO THE AMERICAN _NAVY ' New York, December 25. llr. J. Daniels, Secretary of the Navy, has issued a statement welcoming the American warships which will arrive from England on Boxing Day. Ee says the aid of.the American Navy co-opera-,tion with the British Navy gave such a predominance of sea power in the North Sea that the German Fleet did not dare to invite suicide by offering battle.
