SALVATION ARMY

The morning service at the Salvation Army Citadel was conducted yesterday by Commissioner H. C. Hodder. Tho commissioner based hie remarks on peace and good will to. all men, -referring to tho termination of the war and to the feeling of universal gratitude for the deliverance of the world from Prussianism. He spoke on the lessons which had been learned from the war, and explained what the victory of, the Allies meant to the world. Reference was also made to the recent ( influepza epidemic, and a special prayer. was offered .up for the souletricken homes. The various Salvation' Army , homes .were brightly, decorated and Christmas festivities were carried out in each. . The' Army's bands attended at all parti of .the city and- suburbs and - played carols.
