WOMAN MISSING
LAST SEEN ON MONDAY. A single woman named Jean Hunter, employed as a barmaid at the Tost Office "Hotel, Grey Street, has been missing since Monday evening. It appears that at. G p.m. on that day she was in the kitchen of the hotel, when her manner scorned to bo peculiar. She was heard to'remark that "If someone did not bring her .her coffin she would jump out of the window." At 8 o'clock sho was seen again, and at that time she was wearing a brown cover over her night attire, but was without boots, stockings, or hat. Since then no trace of the woman has been found, although every search has been made, for her. An examination •of her room revealed that none of her clothing was missing. The woman is 3G yeans of age, and sft. Bin. in height. Of medium build, she is of pole complexion, her eyes being brown, .and her hair dark. The police have the matter in hand.
