REIGN OF VIOLENCE IN CONSTANTINOPLE
GOVERNMENT IMPOTENT. London, December 22. The "Morning' Post's" Constantinople correspondent states that a reign'of .violence i* in progress, and there are six or eight murders every night in Pen., where the residents form themselves into convoys in order to reach home safely. Mi, the public services have been suspended. The Government is impotent, and the Allies must take over the policing of the city.-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
