ANOTHER WAR LOAN
IN MARCH ORAPRIL. The Acting-Minister of Finance (the Hon. A. SI. -Myers) stated yesterday that it would probably be "■'necessary to raise another loan of ten millions for war purposes about Hard) or' April next. Tlie terras would be the same as for previous war loans, 4} per cent, free'of income tax. Although the piibjic would not be invited to. subscribe to this loan until the time mentioned, in order to meet the cases of those-people who had mone.v ready for investment, the Treasury would be prepared to accept subscriptions to the new loan at any time, giving interest as from the date of investment.
