Dalgety and Company. Limited, Palmereton North, report on their Palmerston North sale on December 19. There was a email yarding of sheep, but a Rood entry of cattle. Biddine ivaa not brisk, but several lines changed hands at satisfactory prices. Quotations:—Pat ewes, 255., 31a.; ycarlinr heifers, £$ 7s. 6d., £5 10s., £3 125., .£3 12s. 6d.. £4 165.: yearling steers, £5; empty heifers, £4 2s. 6d.. £6; forward cows, £9; two-year steers, £8 15s.
