The monthly mooting of tho Wellington Land Board was held yesterday. The Commissioner of Crown Lands (Mr. G. 11. M. M'Clure) presided, and there were present Messrs.'J. Dawson, J. Georgetti, and C. M'lntyre.

The commissioner submitted a plan and schedule of sections recently surveyed in Waimarino Township, it was resolved to authorise him to offer those available for sale for cash by public auction, at prices to be fixed by him.' further consideration was given to the application of the Tonsariro Timber Co., Lrd., to be allowed to acquire Crown lands in Ifunua S.D.

It was resolved to offer for cash, by public auction, under Section 132 of Tho Land Act, 1!)08, two areas of Crown land in Block VI, Hunua .S.D.. comprising 20 .acres 3 roods 08perchos, and 73 acres 1 rood 24 perches, as one lot, at an upset price of ,£lO per acre. Land of special value owing to proximity to railway. It was further resolved to withhold an area of 17 aces between Totika "Road and proposed railway line, also Sections 41 and 45, Block VI, Hunua S.D., and to set them aside for railway purposes.
