':• A large hoisery mill in North Carolina, U.S.A., recently established what was believed to be a record for the prompt filling of a Government order. The order called for 50,000 pairs of hose, to be rushed to Philadelphia for army use, and within a week of its receipt, tho entire shipment waa on the way to its destination.
