WOMAN DIES SUDDENLY
COLLAPSES ON FERRY WHARF. A woman uamed Mrs. Priscilla Robinson a resident of Dunedin, died suddenly on 'the Ferry Wharf at half-past three yesterday pfternooii. ' Some eight weeks ago the deceased ar. rived from a, visit to Australia, and had been staying with a married daughter, Mrs. R. Ainsley, at 9 Owen Street. iNewtown. During her stay in Wellington she contracted pleurisy mid pneumonia, and was attended by Dr. Line. As it was considered safe for her to travel she intended to leave for the south by tJie Maori yesterday afternoon. Accompanied by her relatives, she arrived at thelerry Wharf in a motor-car, but on alighting she immediately collapsed. She was carried to a seat, and Dr. Line was summoned, but ou arrival he could only pronounce life to be extinct. . As Dr. Line is prepared to issue n medical certificate, it is not likely that an inqitest will be necessary.
