The "Deutsche Zeitung" says that the Crown Prince at the outbreak of'the revolution asked for permission to remain in the Army as a general. His request was refused. It is reported from Munich that Switzerland has refused to allow the Austrian ex-Emperor Karl to reside in the confederation, in view of Holland's difficulties over the sojourn of the ex-Kaiser.— Ans.-N.Z.
