RESIGNATION ACCEPTED BY THE PRIMATE.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, December IG. The Priinate lias received the resignation of Dr. Wood, Bishop of Melanesia. As the work appears to be beyond the strength of the bishop, the Primate has decided to accept the resignation. Tho question of the appointment of a successor will come before the General Synod in May, and in the meantime the Rev. ji, P. Wilson will administer the affairs of the diocese.
