DEMOBILISATION DONATIONS. (Rec. December-12-13, midnight.)
London, December 11. The Press Bureau states that the Government is increasing its unemployment demobilisation donation to.ss. per week in the case of men and women, and holt a crown to employees who -are minors. The men will now receive 235.- and the women 25s.—Aus.-N.K. Cable Assn.Rculer.
SENATOR PEARCE'S VISIT TO LONDON. (Rec. December 12, 9.40' p.m.) Melbourne, December 12. Mr. Watt' (Acting Primo Minister) denies that Senator Pearce is going to London in connection with the demobilisation of the troops.—Press Assn.
RETURNING AUSTRALIAN TROOPS (Rec. December 12, 8.30 p.m.) London, December 11. Twenty-six transports with Australian troops are expected to sail homeward in January.. Some trouble has arisen nt Devonport, where a large number of Australians refused to embark on .a transport. ' The reason is not known.—Aus.--N.Z. Cable Assn.
