PEACE CELEBRATIONS IN AUSTRALIA
INVITATION TO THE BRITISH FLEET. (Rec. December 12, 7.30 p.m.) Melbourne, December 12. The Federal Government is arranging for a three days' celebration when peace is proclaimed, a day of thanksgiving, a day of rejoicing, and children's day. The Government is asking the British Government lo send a fleet of British and Allied warships, captured warships, and submarines to participate in the celebrations.—Press. Aran.
