This question was addressed to the Minister of Defence in the House of Representatives yesterday, ine reference was to the Wanganui Detention Barracks scandal, Lieutenant Crampfern having been the commander or the prison. ~,,.' „ '~ , n ■ The Minister replied: I really can t tell the honourable gentleman. I v ill make inquiries. Mr. Witty: If it is so, it is a shame.
