BILL BEFORE IHE HOUSE. ' The Wellington City Milk Supply Bill now before the House' of Representatives will give the City Council powers 'to carry on the milk supply business of the city. - One section of tho Bill provides that ' no one else shall.compete in this business with-the city. It runs as follows :— \ "If and as long as these regulations ■are in force in respect to any- borough 'it shall not be lawful for any persoh I Other than the corporation of that bor!ough, without the consent of the Minister of Agriculture, to erect, -'adapt, ' or i etinip any building within thirty miles iof that I'orough as a new factory or es- { tablishment for the production of butter, I cheese, condensed milk, dried ■ milk, or'. J any other..product of milk."
