A GERMAN INTERNEE
RELEASED FOR MEDICAL DUTY. The temporary release of Dr.Endletzberger, an Austrian doctor, interned on Motuihi Island, was brought before the notice of the Minister of defence, Sjr Lynn) in the House of llepres^iitatives yesterday. Mr. Payne stated that an application for the release of Dr. Endletzberger to enable him to attend a patient, the wife of an American dentist, at Rotorun, was refused by Colonel Patterson, officer commanding the district, but sub««mently the internee was released on orders from Wellington.
