PRESS DELEGATES RETURN
GREAT CARE TAKEN OP NEW ZEALAND TROOPS. By Tolegraph-Presß Association Auckland, December 1. The, Press delegates returned by the Makuia to-day. Referring to visits paid to the New Zealand hospitals, training camps, and special hospitals, and educational centres at Ilornchurch, Sideup, and Rockhampton, the delegates stated that they disclosed that great care was being taken of the New Zealand troops, and strong and intelligent efforts were being made to equip the men with vocations to enable them to take their places in civil life. Technical education of ninny kinds-of a most valuable character was being steadily attained,-especially in the cases of men who have lost limbs or have been maimed otherwise. In T'rance the delegates met Generals ' Hal's Russell, Laurence, and Home, all of whom spoke in the highest terms of the New Zealand troops. President I'oincaie and 51. Clemenceau spoke of the inUexihle resolve of the French nation to continue the war to a successful conclusion. The delegates are all in good health.
