REPLY TO CRITICISM
New York, November 2". President Wilson .will sail on the transport George Washington, formerly a North German Lloyd liner. The members of the American peace delegation will accompany tho President. A dispatch "received at the White House from Lord Northcliffe states that while it is know there .is opposition in America to tho President's journey nbroad the British and. French people share in the opinion that the President's absence from the peace table is unthink-able.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. PRESIDENTIAL DUTIES. Washington, November 27. President Wilson, replying to critics, says he does not attach Any weight to the contention that his absence from the United States will incapacitate him from the performance of his Presidential duties. He intends to officially administer his office on board ship, and also in Paris, by cable wireless. The President's passport will permit him to visit Italy,- Prance, and Britain. It is understood that he will first visit France. A shipload of Press correspondents is shortly leaving on route for Europe—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
