PRIME MINISTER CABLES SYDNEY.

Yesterday the Prime Minister 'sent tho following cable message to the Premier of New South Wales .—"Several vessels for New Zealand, including the Arawa, are held up in Sydney, presumably on account of the epidemic here. I desire to assure you there is no good reason to ju«Hfy this, as the epidemic in this Dominion is rapidly decreasing. Business is being resumed, and matters generally ore getting back to normal. Moreover, owing to extreme precautions, there is little or no danger from infection on the waterfronts, and normal working conditions have been resumed. Will you kindly make this knovn?"
