MERCURIAL TREATMENT FOR INFLUENZA
BENEFICIAL RESULTS OBTAINED IN AUCKLAND. Referring to the cablegram from Athens stating that mercurial treatment had been tried for inllueitza with brilliant results, Dr. Frengley said the .treatment had been tried with beneficial results in Auckland, states the "Star."' Tho Auckland practitioners had not been behind in this matter, mercury having been used for certain types of the influenza. As a matter of fact, nearly two weeks back a prescription was telegraph, ed widely by the Health Department iu which mercury formed an important part of tho constituents.
