<j HARBOUR BOARD VOTES .-£SOO,
"It is part of my pleasing duty tonight," said Mr. €'. E. Dauiell (chairman of tho Wellington Harbour Board) last evening, to formally place on record that peace is within sight. Last year we expressed our appreciation of the Navy, and to-night it will be'my privilege to ask you to endorso the proposal to say ■"Well done!" to the men of the British mercantile marine by a vote of >£500. The'proposal was endorsed by a unanimous vote.
