PARLIAMENT AND ITS WORK
Sir,—Now tfiat the war has reached the stage of an armistice, the most important legislation is that dealing with war moneys, demobilisation, repatriation of our soldiers, and the making of ample provision for their dependents. Following the armistice has come this epidemic, and any Parliament—especially after it 'has extended its own lifetime by its own act—thnt suggests, or attempts to deal with, any other kind of legislation whatever before a general election signs its own death-warrant.-I am, etc., R.S.
