A further Gormnn wireless message states that tho now National Government has met. It consists of Herr Ebert, Herr Soheidcmann, and Herr Landsberg (Majority Socialists), Horr Haase; Herr Dittmann, and Herr Bath (Independent Socialists). Every Departmental Minister will be assisted by two Socialists, ona from the Majority Party nnd one from tho Independent Party. Herr Ebert and Herr Haase will hold (lie chairmanship l of the political Cabinet.— Aus.-N.3i. The balance of power between Herr Ebei't's Moderate? and Hen' Haase's Extremists is delicate. The Independent Socialists demanded a cessation of dealing with the ■bourgeoisie, and raised a cry of countorrevolution. Tho loss of lifo : in the recent outbreaks was apparently trifling. Somo nests of officers aro stiill hiding in eewers. A Provisional Government comprising all parties at Karlsruhe has proclaimed that Baden vill remain part of the Empire. A hundred thousand prisoners of war have escaped and are 'approaching the Western frontiers.—"The Times."
