Mr. A. H. Hindmarsh, M.P., is one of the latest victims of influenza, and ho does not expect to be about agaul for another week or more.

The death occurred, yesterday afternoon of Ma-. H. T. Wiltshire, of Messrs. Briscoe and Co/s cily department. Mi. Wiltshire \m in perfect health up to a few days ago, when ho had to lay up with an attack of influenza. The late Mr. Wiltshire was the youngest son of the late Mr. George Wiltshire, for many years engineer odq surveyor to the Cit) Council, and leaves a wife and one child. The death from influenza of Mr. J?H. Malcolm, headmaster of To Aro School, occurred at his residence in Washington Avenue, Brooklyn, on Monday night. The late Mr. Malcolm was born in Dunfermline, Scotland, in 1865. Ho finished his training as a teacher at tho Normal .School and Canterbury College, Christclnirch. In 1887 he was appointed assistant at the Greyniouth District High School. After considerable service at Grcymoutli ho joined , the _ Wellington Education Board, and during the last twenty years had held tho positions Qf headmaster at Fcatherston, Scarborough, Mitclielltown, and To Aro Schools. Ihe late Mr. Malcolm was a, very capable teacher and a man of genial disposition, and hid untimely death has come as it shock to his large circle of friends. He has left a widow anil family. His father died last year.

Private William Anderson, of the Forty-second Reinforce nents, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Anderson, of Wellington (lied of pneumonia in the Cannock Chase Military Hospital, England. Private Anderson was 20 years of age, and was formerly .1 wiirser in tho Union Steam Ship "Company's service.
