GALE AT FEATHERSTON
CANVAS. CAMP .WRECKED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Featherston, November 7. During the severe gale last night the canvas camp was wrecked. This afternoon the military authorities arranged for the accommodation of 900 men in the town, securing the Town Hall, the public school, the gymnasium, the Presbyterian Church, tne Anglican schoolroom, and the Oddfellows' Hall. All were willingly offered.
