BARBAROUS VENDETTA ON POLISH BORDER Berne, November i. It is reported from Vilna that the 801- , sheviki ore carrying on a lmrbarous , vendetta on the eastern borders of Poland. They impale their victims, cut off their noses and ears, and bury some alive. Thoeo who are spared are sent to concentration camps, where they are brutally treated, and are constantly liable to assassination. The Bolsheviki plunder and burn homes and terrorise whole districts. The people are appealing for the -protection of a Regency Council. Austrian troops have been withdrawn from Poland. -"The Times."
A BUREAU OF FREE LOVE
STATE BAB V-F AIMING. ■ London, November i. The Soviets' offioinl organ, "Izvestia," has published the decree of the Vladimir Bolsheviki, establishing, a bureau of free love, at which girls over eighteen years of nge are obliged to register. A certain number of girls and men are allowed to select mates, but whole consent is unnecessary. The children are to be State property.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
