In connection with the Musical and Elocutionary Competitions to be held in the Grand Opera Houso commencing on November It the Executive Council has decided to issue a limited number of members' tickets. A small number still remain for disposal, and early application is requested: Competitions in Wellington have been discontinued since the commencement of the war, but in view of the fact that Dunodiii, Christen urch, and other centres have continued their festivals with successful results it was felt the timo was opportune to again inaugurate the Competitions in this city, and the record entry received proves tho anticipations of the society wcro.not misplaceu.
