GILBEY'S DRY GIN.
NOTICE.-Messrs. W. and A. Gilbey desire to notify the Public that, owing to the closing down by the Government of the Distilleries in tho United Kingdom and tho great dearth of Shipping facilities, it is impossible for tho time being to meet in full the demands lor their famous Gin. Every effort is being made, however, to overcome existing liitlieulties, and the public should continuo lo ask for and see that they get Gilbey's Dry Gin only, in the firm's crystal bottles, which havo their signatures blown thereon.—A dvt.
Mr. W. J. Stevens, accountant of the AVelli'ngton Gas Company, Ltd., who has been indisposed for the past four months, left yesterday by the Main Trunk tram for Rotorua. Tho Hon. J. T. Paul, M.L.C., president of tho New Zealand Labour Party, and Mr. J. M'Combs, M.P., will nfldress a public meeting in the Artcraft (late Crown) Theatre, Molesworth Street, tomorrow ovening at 8 o'olook.
