LADIES' BILLIARDS

Eeally attractive billiards' was to be seen at Alcock's rooms last night, the play being good, tho finishes close, and the audience appreciative. \ The first two to finish were Mrs. Kilminster and Mrs. Porter, the former winning by nearly 30 points. Mrs. Robertson just managed to beat Miss Stace by the nearest possiblo number of points after a closo and exciting game. Miss Stace had a fine chance of winning, but she'played a simplo loser just a little too fine, and left her ball on the edge of a pocket. Mrs. Robertson then played a forcing loser off tho red, which gave her more points than sho really needed. Miss Leslie, who a a debutante, played exceedingly well, and won by a comfortablo margin from Mrs. Player. The younger lady cues very nicoly, and hns quite a good sty]e. Mrs. Player was singularly unfortunate in her leaves, and seemed to have an unusually largo proportion of absolute safeties left her. The game between Mrs. Lockwood and Mrs. Wntkins was very even right up to tho last few shots, when Mrs. Lockwood drew away, winning by some half-dozen points. To-night at 7.31) Miss Leslie plays Mrs. Lockwood and Mrs. Kilminster plays Mrs. Robertson. At B.3o.Miss Since plays Mrs. Porter and Miss Leslie plays Mrs. "Watkins. Mrs. Watkins has also to play Mrs. Player.
