THE C 1 CAMP
TO BE CLOSED SHORTLY. A question was placed on the Ordor Paper of the House of Representatives on Wednesday by Mr. G. V. Pearce (Patea) relating to the Cl Camp. Mr. Pearce asks how many men have, been taken into the camp, how many have been passed into the reinforcements, and how many of the- men so transferred have been subsequently discharged from the forces as unfit.
The member for Patea stated yesterday ihafc since putting his question he had received an assurance from the Minister of Defence Mat the taking of men into the Cl Camp would be stopped very shortly. The camp was considered by the Minister to have served its purpose.
