PRESIDENT WILSON CRITICISED IN THE SENATE ACCUSED OF MAKING PEACE ON HIS OWN TERMS. Washington, October 28. Senator Knox speaking in the Senate, attacked President Wilson because he is seeking to make peace on his own terms, and not on terms representative of American public opinion. The Sonate, he said, ought to take into its own hands the consideration of the peace treaty. The Prudent was guilty of political partisanship. Senator Knox referred io the President s ideas for peace being scattered through various addresses.
