Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, Palmereton North, report . having held their fortnightly salo at Taihape on Wednesday, when a fair yardinjr of both sheep and cattle came to'Jiand. There was a small attendance of buyers and prices were .easier, but the quality of the stock offered accounted somewhat for the decline ■in prices/ Quotations:—Mixed hoesets, to 245.; mixed hoggets, small,, to i?s. 9d.: wether hoggets. 275. 7d.: four and Bix-tooth wethers, to 34b. lid.; small wether lioegets. IZs. 21; bulla, £8 10b., £10, to £15. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd.. report, ha'vinc held a sale at the Carterton show grounds yesterday, when they offered a fair yarding , of sheep. .Prices- as follow:-Fat lambs, 7,15'., 22n., 235. 6d.; shorn fat wethers, 335. Cd, to 35b. ;' shorn fat ewes. 355.
