SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
An. enjoyable concert -mu .given by Misn Jf. Troon (hostess) at the Sailors' Friend Society on Thursday before .a very largo audience. The items in a well-arranged programme were all encored. The performers iverc:—Moeddmes Mueller and Tare, and Misses liiokard, Dcnise, Edwina. Vare, Muollciy. Shand, Griffitha (2), and Troon, and Jtr.William Smith. Mrs. Varo and Miss Griffiths . were- at. ■ tho Diano. A chat on "Efficiency.'.' by Mr. .Mooro (misaionor), led to pledgee from the ihen. The competition prizes came from Bowen Street.' ' Oheere, a voto of t.h#4\ltß, - ahd hospitality closed a bright evening for the men.
