NELSON'S DAY
ITS CELEBEATION TO-DAY. To-day is "Nelson's Day"—the hundred and thirteenth anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, and the event is t , .' he quietly celebrated. Citizens mid firms who have the facilities hare been asked to display bunting in honour of England's greatest naval huro; rol'nrences to the day and its significance will be made to the school-children by tho headmasters, and during the afternoon some hundreds of children are tu attend the King's, Empress, and Our Theatres to witness programmes (•! pictures in keeping with the day. In the evening tho Wellington branch ot the Navy League is to hold a sooial in the Concert Chamber, to u'hich members and their friends are invited. Tho Wellington branch has arranged that a wreath shall bo placed on Nelson monument in Trafalgar Square, London, to-day.
