The Wairarapa Farmers' Co-operative Association, Limited, Stock Department,. Mastertou, report having held their weekly sale at the Masterton yards, when they offered a good yarding of nheep and a Bmnll one of cattle. Competition was fairly keen, and the firm disposed of the bulk of the entry. Prices were:-223 mixed ■FPX woolly hojgets, 33b.; 28 woolly hoggets, 335.; 109 mixed sex woolly hoggets, 28s. 6d.; 37 whitcfaced hogget", 265, Bd.; 26 ditto, 26b. 20 Lincoln-skinned hoggete, 30s. 2d.; 44 woolly liogjteta (nmall), 245. Bd.; 132 blackfaced hoggets. £1 1?.; 42 cull blnckfaced hoggets. 16s. 6d.; 57 fat ewes, on account of Mr. G. H. Williams, £2 2s. 6d.; 45 forward ewes and wethers, 33e. 9d.; 5 small 2-tooth wethers, 32a. M.; 35 cull ewes, 17s. 2d.; 3 dairy cows, close to profit, made £13, £14'7s. 6d. to £15 2s. 6d.;- 3 Shorthorn bule, on account of Tyneside Station,
made £15- 155., £H to £26 55.; 3 young crossbrtd bulls, .«, £9 10s., £14; 2 springing heifers, £9 17s. 6d.; 3 2-year-old dairy steers, £10 2s. 6d.
Messrs. Dalßcly and Company, Limited, report having hold their annunl spring cattle fair at Levin on Tuesday, when they offered a large jardinE of cattle. Tho weather was very bad, and bidding was flack, but tho majority of lines were disposed of at catlslaulory uricce.. The followinß were the principal sales' effected:— Bullocks, £12 10s. to £14; yearling , bulls, £4 to £5; 2-year S.H.-orose steers, £9 7s. 6d. to £10 103.; steers, £5 135.; vrcaner s£eer3, £3 16s. j vcalors, £2 95.; dehorned cows, £5 15s. to £9 155.; 6.E. cows £7 15s. to £9 195.; empty heifers, £6 11b, to £7 125.; yearling heiiers, £3 15s. to £4 Bs. '
