BAPTIST UNION CONFERENCE

Tho Baptist Union Conference terminated on Wednesday evening, when a performance, entitled "An Evening With Handel," -was rendered in the Vivian Street Church by the combined Baptist choirs, numbering seventy voices. There was a largo and appreciative audience. The soloists were Mesdnmes J. N. Duncan and H. \V. Johnson, Misses Miller and Niool. Messrs. W. Church, M. Gilmour, ana G. W. Dowling. A hearty vote of thanks to the city and suburban choirs, the conductor (Mr. G. F. Frew), and tho organist (Mr. C. Collins), moved by the Rev. S. Beckingham and seconded by tho Rev. A. North was carried by acclamation. The singing of tho National Anthem brought a most enjoyable evening and a fine performance to a close.
