ASSOCIATION

The weekly meeting of the Wellington Football Association was held at the Y.M.O.A. last evening. Present:— Messrs. A. E. Wells (chairman); A. Smith, 0. Webster, 0. Ward, W. Duncan, W. Auldi H. Yeoman, and A. Williams.

A balance-sheet of the recent Brown Shield match, Canterbury v. Wellington, was received showing a balance to Wellington of £14. Much comment was made by the committee on Canterbury charging £14' 3s. 2d. for the ground at Christchurch on the day in question, and the matter was referred to the New Zealand Council. Auckland was allotted 331-3 per cent, of the net gate towards their expenses in the recent match at' Wellington. The City Council aro to ho asked for a rebate owing to the grounds not being available on five playing Saturdays.
