LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
AMUSEMENT FOR PARLIAMENT
Sir,—Your' report of Mr. H. E. Holland, M.P.'s, boasting at the so-called Labour rally on Sunday reminds the public Unit they may expect some genuine amusement at the coming session of Parliament. Mr. Holland is so proud at being elected by a majority of a' little over one hundred votes at Grey, where he should have polled a majority of over fifteen hundred, that he seems like the frog in the fable, bursting with vanity. He is already dating his letters from "Parliament House," whatever that means, where he wishes it to appear he has taken up his permanent-political abode. He should follow the example of another "flash in the pan," mid when he first rises in the House to astound the world with his eloquence he should ask the Speaker to vacate his chair for the historical occasion.—l am, etc., AN AMUSED ONLOOKER.
