PARTY'S PETITION ENDORSED.
By Toleiji'aph.—Press Association. Chrlstchurch, October 10. A meeting called at the request ol the National Council of the Labour Party, to present that body's views on the liquor question and the holding of a general election, was addressed by several members of the party. A motion was carried endorsing the petitions promoted by the New Zealand Labour Party for a general election and on the licensing question.
