MURNINGTON LADIES , CLUB. The competition played on the American, tournament system (everybody plays everybody), for ,1 silver rose bowl presented by Dr. R. A. Cameron, was won by Mrs. Hawsoh on the play off of a tie with Mrs. Thorp, both ladies having won ten matches out of twelve. ■The final match was very interesting, Mrs. Hawson winning , by four strokes, which was tho exact amount of the difference of the handicaps. The second prize went to Mrs.. Thorp, and the third to Mise H. Laurenson.
