Wyvern Wilson, S.M., remarked at the conclusion of a oaso in which a local dairy ifarmer in a Email way was charged under the Pood and Drupes Act with selling adulterated milk, official analysis of which showed 42 per cent, of added water. The defendant) Alexander Guthrie, could not explain how it happened. He was in the habit of selling his milk to a vendor, the amount thus sold being about four gallons a day. He was fined £20, with £2 witnesses' expenses, and costs 9s.
